Why do you think you should be Mr. CBD and what do you think you can bring to the competition that nobody else does?

Everything that happens to someone should be a story and I love putting myself out of my comfort zone so that I can read mine. I can rock a suit with the best of them and I can do it all without having either of my hands in my pocket.

You have no money, but you have to take a girl out on a date, where do you take her?
Unless you count Disneyland, the arrivals hall at the airport is the happiest place in the world. We would sit right near the gate and try to guess where people have come from and what adventures they have had.

What is the best compliment someone has ever given you?
I was once told “Your eyes are so blue, they look like the ocean and I want to take a swim in them.” I was 18 and a bit creeped out, but I can’t imagine anyone ever topping that.

The Animal Welfare League of NSW helps respond to cases of neglect and abuse of animals. Why do you think this is an important cause?

There is absolutely nothing more important than the safety and wellbeing of animals. They don’t have a voice so it’s up to us to speak for them. I would love to strut my stuff down the catwalk and raise money for this charity- because at the end of the day this is what Mr. CBD is truly about.
